It’s hard to believe the end of the year is approaching yet again. 2022 tried (and likely succeeded) in outdoing 2021. The year started off wet; with some of the worst flooding in history in Northern NSW and Queensland. Fast forward to the end of the year. It’s still wet; with flooding a little closer to home in Forbes and Eugowra. Many people losing everything in a year that had it’s fair share of setbacks.

Those not affected by floods were likely caught up in data breaches – whether it be Optus, Medibank, or numerous other breaches over the last few months. Be wary of callers invoking urgency and fear purporting to be your banking institution or telecommunication provider. Scammers will have access to breach data, allowing them to appear authentic.

As the end of the year approaches, I would like to thank all who have supported Internet Centre throughout 2022. I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year. All the best for 2023!
